Dear Colleagues,

The Midwest Bioarchaeology & Forensic Anthropology Association is still accepting abstract submissions for poster and podium presentations for the 24^th Annual Meeting in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This year’s meeting will focus on current research on the excavation, curation, and analysis of human skeletal remains in the fields of bioarcheology, paleopathology, forensic anthropology, and forensic archaeology. Students, independent scholars, and professionals are encouraged to participate.

This year’s meeting will take place November 3-4, 2017, and planning is well underway. We continue to update the website at www.barfaa.org with important details, and we invite you to check back often for new updates.  Registration and abstract submissions are available through the website.

The abstract submission deadline is 3:00pm (CDT) September 1, 2017.

BARFAA is excited about the 24^th Annual Meeting and the opportunity to engage, network, and present current research. We encourage you to submit your abstracts and look forward to seeing you in Milwaukee this November!
